Cremation Pricing
The staff at Mid Shore Cremation Center takes great pride in caring for our families, and has made a commitment to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. Honoring your loved one is our top priority, and part of that is assisting you deal with grief during this difficult time. Everyone’s needs are different, and for that reason, families can entrust their loved one’s wishes to our staff. We have a wide range of resources to support you not only today, but in the weeks and months to come.
Our Package
We offer a "Direct Cremation" package which includes:
- Services of the staff. A licensed Mortician will meet you at our office during regular office hours to
complete the necessary authorizations and gather information. No "online plans" to hassle with. - Local removal from the place of death, up to 30 miles.
- Identification and care of the decedent prior to cremation.
- Securing and filing the death certificate.
- Transportation of the decedent to our own crematory, located on the Mid Shore in Cambridge, Maryland.
- Crematory fee.
- Notification to Social Security.
- Temporary Container for Cremated Remains.
- Delivery of the cremated remains, death certificates and any other selected merchandise back to the family.
This Package $1995*
Additional items not included in the above may include urns, urn vaults, register books, acknowledgement cards, prayer cards, memorial folders, printed newspaper obituaries and death certificates. Maryland death certificates in the county we file are $22.00 for the first, and $24.00 for each additional copy ordered at the same time. Death certificates in the entire state of Delaware are $25 per certified copy.
